maxi das 708 trying to read codes for OBD 1 GM

    I'm trying to connect to an 89 GM and receiving power from cigarette lighter, there are no options for any GM models older than 96? How can I get the data for this?

     did you try using just the regular OBD scan option?

     Fellas,

    They never supported this for USA.  I know silly, you have connector, but software isn't in unit.
    OBD scan is for OBDII 96-up.
    Just do a flash test on that '89.

     Ok, we only cover GM since 1996.
